The Central Tiantai Buddhist Museum was established to revitalize exchange of cultural areas of international Buddhism and collect and preserve historic and academic materials related to Tiantai Buddhism systematically.
The Central Tiantai Buddhist Museum was established to revitalize exchange of cultural areas of international Buddhism and collect and preserve historic and academic materials related to Tiantai Buddhism systematically. This is not limited to Tiantai Buddhism but makes a contribution to the transmission and development of Buddhist culture as the pan-sectarian Buddhism museum. And it has made a contribution to regional cultural development that the public can participate. The Central Tiantai Buddhist Museum was opened in 2013 by starting construction from 2003. Now it is closed on holidays and every Monday. Opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekends. And the admission fee is free of charge.
